Bonanza Educational - Roaring Racers
Ready to go to the races? This high-energy after-school class has students build race cars of all kinds! We’ll use LEGO TECHNIC parts--you know, the kind that move and have gears and wheels and motors--to build a different roaring racer every week! Each weeks’ racers will be powered by something different, like gravity, compressed air, rubber bands, and battery powered motors! In every class we will build a functioning model while we learn the STEM concepts that make each weeks’ racers roar! Along the way we will practice problem solving skills, teamwork skills, and how to become better communicators.
Leave your LEGO at home; we’ll supply everything you need. No take-home projects.
