***For Esperanza Students Only*** This club will challenge students on the PLC 90 minute early release days (scheduled on select Fridays) during the school year. Students will use teamwork to develop strategy and skill as they compete against other students while playing various games until the normal dismissal time. Subject to minimum enrollment. NOTE: Students may be subject to withdrawal from Board Game Club due to: poor behavior, late arrival to the club, and late pickup by parent/guardian.

Sycamore Learning Company’s Prep for the Future seminars teach students proven methods to successfully raise their ACT scores. These specially designed seminars offer students the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the upcoming college tests and develop a personalized game plan to maximize their scores. Each student will receive a study guide full of tips and strategies and full-length practice tests with detailed answer explanations. NOTE: A one hour lunch break will be given, however, lunch is not provided.

Little learners, big possibilities! Arizona Science Center's Science on Wheels is visiting Copper Creek! They bring hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (S.T.E.M.) experiences that are aligned with Developmentally Appropriate Practice, National Association for the Education of Young Children recommendations for high quality programs, Arizona Early Learning Standards, and Teaching Strategies GOLD. Our child-centered programs provide opportunities for children to deepen their learning connections, practice higher order thinking skills, and build their knowledge about the world around them. The program can also support school-ready skills such as problem-solving, communication, persistence, and confidence.

"Little Tree Is Enough" Come along with Little Tree as he tries to show the forest birds how he is finally big enough to hold a bird nest of his own. Young readers will enjoy helping Little Tree discover that his short limbs, small branches, and tiny leaves are perfect for carrying things more important than he'd ever thought. What is B.O.L.T.S?! B.O.L.T.S. (Building Our Leaders Through Science) is an innovative and hands-on S.T.E.A.M. based program (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) where students participate in extreme science experiments, team challenges, and engineering activities. Activities such as exploring the world of gravity and acceleration, creating carbon dioxide, making non-Newtonian substances like Oobleck, and fun chemical reactions such as elephant toothpaste and slime. Creativity Center allows children the opportunity to explore the world around them in a new and creative way. From blending colors to using fruits, vegetables, and everyday items to create, children will start to build an appreciation for art in a developmentally appropriate setting. It's time to let their creativity flow, so be prepared to get messy!

Deer Valley Unified School District's Community Education Department offers an Arizona Department of Transportation approved Drivers Education program for high school students including behind-the-wheel training for students that are at least 15 years, 6 months. Students must have their driving permit in order to receive the behind-the-wheel training. In addition, students must be currently registered in/attending an Arizona high school. Students who successfully complete the program, which requires 100% attendance, will receive a Certificate of Completion and the MVD will be notified electronically once the student has passed all required skills. This fulfills the state requirement for the Graduated License, usually exempting the student from being required to take the road test with an MVD examiner. **Note: Includes graphic images/discussion involving accidents**
