Little learners, big possibilities! Arizona Science Center's Science on Wheels is visiting Copper Creek! They bring hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (S.T.E.M.) experiences that are aligned with Developmentally Appropriate Practice, National Association for the Education of Young Children recommendations for high quality programs, Arizona Early Learning Standards, and Teaching Strategies GOLD. Our child-centered programs provide opportunities for children to deepen their learning connections, practice higher order thinking skills, and build their knowledge about the world around them. The program can also support school-ready skills such as problem-solving, communication, persistence, and confidence. -

Play Dough Experience
Squishing, rolling, sculpting, molding . . . young children love to play with play dough!Our Play Dough Experiences are designed for children ages 2- 5 years of age. We will be implementing a PLAY based model, and our sessions provide children with the exposure to areas including early language and literacy. Parents will learn about how play impacts brain development and will get ideas for creating purposeful play at home. -

Puzzles help build physical skills like fine and gross motor skills, emotional skills like patience, confidence, and self esteem, and social skills like teamwork and communication. Puzzles release stress, and can be a great way to calm an anxious child or increase patience and concentration. Puzzles also encourage shape recognition, spacial awareness, and spacial relations. -
