(PLC 90) Board Game Club
***For Esperanza Students Only*** This club will challenge students on the PLC 90 minute early release days (scheduled on select Fridays) during the school year. Students will use teamwork to develop strategy and skill as they compete against other students while playing various games until the normal dismissal time. Subject to minimum enrollment. NOTE: Students may be subject to withdrawal from Board Game Club due to: poor behavior, late arrival to the club, and late pickup by parent/guardian. -

What is B.O.L.T.S?! B.O.L.T.S. (Building Our Leaders Through Science) is an innovative and hands-on S.T.E.A.M. based program (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) where students participate in extreme science experiments, team challenges, and engineering activities. Activities such as exploring the world of gravity and acceleration, creating carbon dioxide, making non-Newtonian substances like Oobleck, and fun chemical reactions such as elephant toothpaste and slime. Get Dancing! - Kids Country Dance
Kids are joining the craze of country dancing and this class will teach them the basics of the most popular line dances and partner dancing. Our professional instructor is a retired certified teacher that has been teaching dance for 25 years and has been teaching adult dance classes for Community Education since 2005! She is now excited to expand our program to a younger age group at the request of parents! Wear casual, comfortable clothes and shoes; fancy is not necessary. KidStage - Acting/Theatre Course ("Beauty and the Beast")
KidStage is a theatre and acting class for kids! The curriculum includes concentration, teamwork, improvisation, movement, voice, and basic theatre terminology. At the end of the course, KidStage kids will perform for peers and parents. All classes are taught by trained instructors, whose goal is to teach your child about the excitement of theatre, improve your child’s self-confidence, and to provide a safe, fun, and interesting environment. KidStage will strengthen your child’s confidence as well as build teamwork, leadership, reading, and vocabulary. Featured production is Beauty and the Beast. All final performances will be held at Sandra Day O'Connor High School in the Performing Arts Center on Saturday 4/18/26. Details to be announced closer to that date. Right Start Junior Golf
This golf instruction program has received national awards from the PGA and USGA. Students will learn the “Golf’s 4 Keys Instruction Program” which teaches the proper set-up and technique to learn how to make full swing, pitching, and chipping strokes. Classes take place on the schools’ athletic fields using a proprietary 1/3 weight ball that flies and performs like a full weight ball. All equipment is provided. -
Study Skills Seminar
Sycamore Learning Company has developed a new study skills seminar to help students at all levels of their academic progress. It is important to understand the process of time management and the optimal ways to study to increase productivity as well as test scores. Throughout this seminar, students will learn a new way to look at things to help them throughout the years in high school and college. Developing this skill set early on can give students a significant advantage over their peers who do not manage their time and studies properly.
