DVUSD Community Education preschool programs are based on the belief that all children can learn and that each program provides quality child development services designed to meet and exceed the individual needs of the children through an effective partnership with the staff, parents/guardians, and community. Our school-based Before & After School Care programs offer school aged children the opportunity to extend their children's learning and development beyond the school day in a safe and supervised environment. Our diverse set of enrichment activities such as homework assistance, organized play indoors and out, and access to optional after school enrichment classes ensures there is something for everyone to enjoy. A variety of schedule options are available to meet most needs. Kindergarten students, including early entry, may attend upon reaching their 5th birthday. Sites available can be viewed on our website. DVUSD Community Education is licensed with AZ Department of Health and complies with all Rules & Regulations.

Sunsational Summer Camp is a DHS licensed child care program available from 7:00 AM until 6:00 PM, for a daily fee. Please note we are closed on weekends and for holidays (see handbook and/or activity calendar). Summer Camp activities are enrichment focused to include weekly field trips & VIP presenters in addition to daily engaging activities through rotations including sports, art & crafts, literacy, stem and more. All students must be registered in advance. Sunsational Summer camp will run from June 1 - July 16, 2026. Camp locations are Canyon Springs, Greenbrier, Park Meadows and West Wing. Daily rate includes all field trips, activities, VIP presenters, and AM/PM snacks. Please note: Greenbrier and Park Meadows qualify for CEP ( Community Eligibility Provision with National School Breakfast Program and National School Lunch Program) - Greenbrier and Park Meadows will receive free lunch as part of CEP. Students attending camp at Canyon Springs and West Wing must bring a sack lunch. OPTIONAL weekly pizza lunch purchase may be selected during the registration process for Canyon Springs and West Wing. (Pizza will be part of the CEP Free lunches at Greenbrier and Park Meadows). Drop in days are not permitted on Field Trip Days.
