Puzzles help build physical skills like fine and gross motor skills, emotional skills like patience, confidence, and self esteem, and social skills like teamwork and communication. Puzzles release stress, and can be a great way to calm an anxious child or increase patience and concentration. Puzzles also encourage shape recognition, spacial awareness, and spacial relations.
