In this class, participants will have fun mixing traditional holiday objects with nontraditional objects.  Students will learn an easy technique using Mod Podge, tissue paper, and foam balls to create:  a glow-in-the-dark space alien ornament complete with a planet and rocket ship; a clay bird rainforest ornament; a pirate ornament; and a unicorn ornament.  In addition, students will create a tooled foil dove ornament and a stenciled glass ornament.  Crayola Model Magic and cookie cutters will be used to create traditional holiday objects such as a tree, snowman, mittens, etc., along with untraditional object like guitars, high heels, and dinosaurs.  Students will make large holiday cards with matching envelopes.  Untraditional cards will feature:fairies delivering holiday gifts; dancing holiday dragons; and a pirate with a special holiday message.  Traditional cards will include:  a large holiday wreath; a cityscape with reindeer; a snowman; and busy shoppers and more.  All supplies, tools, and materials are included in the class fee.  For boys and girls.
